It is the perfect place to find a new Dell Inspiron 13z 3520-0376 for 1899AED or a Lenovo G580-8090 for 1999AED.
And as mentioned earlier in a previous post on laptop prices in Dubai the stores won’t differ too much on price but may offer specials whereby they will package a laptop with a tablet or smartphone as a bonus deal.

When searching for a laptop in Dubai there are a number of very good computer and electronic stores available.
They offer a wide selection of laptops and notebooks ranging from the latest Macbooks to Samsung and HP. And while the sales service may differ between stores the prices of laptops in dubai in particular do not.
So it’s best to compare laptop prices in Dubai with the equivalent machine on Amazon and determine whether or not it’s worth ordering from them and paying a shipping cost.
Delivery to the UAE is resonable fast through the Aramax Shop and Ship service.
It’s better to test out a laptop such as the Apple MacBook Pro MD101LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop (NEWEST VERSION)
Make sure you look into the laptop accessories such as the battery, hard drive, ram, and power voltage and cord to make sure the laptop is compatible in the UAE.

It was always thought that by increasing the RAM would increase the speed of your laptop and while this is true for some applications a solid state hard drive has a greater impact on the speed of accessing documents and opening applications.
So rather than look for a hard drive that has an enormous capacity go for a lesser capacity (i.e. cheaper) SSD drive. You can always back up your music and movies and data on to an external drive if you start to run out of space which you most probably wont.
Laptops in Dubai that house SSDs
The Samsung NP900X3C-A04AE from Jumbo Electronics comes in at a reasonable price (5999AED) as well as a 256GB SSD, and 4GB of RAM.
But drop the capacity down by half and get a Samsung NP900X4D-A02AE for 4499AED with a 128GB SSD and 4GB of RAM.
HP offers the HP 13-2110 which has a 256GB SSD drive and 4GB of RAM. Very similar price to the Samsung NP900X3C-A04AE at 5699AED.
Don’t be fooled into buying a large capacity (slow) hard drive. It’s just not worth it when you can save your non essential data to the cloud or an external hard drive.

We eagerly await the arrival of the new Google Chromebook into Dubai. In fact we couldn’t wait any longer so we ordered the Samsung Chromebook (Wi-Fi, 11.6-Inch)
If you are a regular user of Google docs and gmail then you will love the Chromebook. It is super fast and gets faster. Ours boots up in 5 seconds. There’s no more crashing of clunky software like Office and you can browse the internet at speed.
Antivirus? You dont need it as everything is run through the Chrome browser and Chromebooks automatically update themselves and you get the latest version of the operating system without having to think about it.
This really is that laptop that gets things down.
We are not exactly sure why this particular laptop is unavailable in Dubai with the amount of computer stores around but as soon as it becomes available in stores we will update you as soon as possible.
